Food Server

About the role

Medusa Restaurants, a group of 45 restaurant and catering establishments across several countries, is hiring a Food Server for a full-time, on-site position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The server welcomes guests, presents menus, takes orders and serves food and drinks while keeping the dining area clean and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and give detailed information about food and beverage options
• Take orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and drinks and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff
• Handle payment processes
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Work with colleagues to deliver a high-quality guest experience

Required profile

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality service roles is highly preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
• Professional appearance, reliability and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Required skills

• Strong customer-facing skills, including customer service and communication
• Practical knowledge of food and beverage offerings and food service procedures
• Basic cooking awareness to explain menu items and preparation methods
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health regulations
