General Manager of Group Marketing and Customer Department

About the role

The General Manager of Group Marketing and Customer Department will lead the development and execution of market strategies for Anton’s oil and gas business in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees market research, client relationship management and strategic channel development to drive growth across international oil companies and national oil corporations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Group in creating medium‑ and long‑term market development plans and building offline and online market systems.
• Organise market research and competitive analysis, identify business opportunities and monitor early growth indicators.
• Support senior management of client relationships with international oil companies and provide timely support across business lines.
• Develop and manage top‑tier strategic channels and market partnerships.
• Lead brand presence and major events such as ADIPEC, coordinating planning, resources and high‑level cooperation.
• Empower each business unit’s market client work to achieve annual goals.
• Lead the market client team, review performance, optimise workflows and ensure departmental targets are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Marketing, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in market customer and government relations within the oil & gas or energy sector.
• Proven expertise in customer engagement planning, business communication and client reception.
• Deep understanding of oil and gas client structures, decision‑making processes and cultural characteristics, especially IOCs and NOCs.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and business‑acumen skills.
• Extensive network of contacts within the oil and gas industry (preferred).
