About the role
Join BYD and Al‑Futtaim Electric Mobility as a General Repair Technician, responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing electric vehicles while ensuring high safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on BYD electric vehicles.
- Perform repairs in line with EV safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check reporting.
- Maintain workshop safety, quality and 5S standards while meeting productivity targets.
Required profile
- Diploma, ITI, NCVT, ITC or equivalent technical qualification.
- 2–3 years experience as an automotive, diagnostic or general repair technician.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair; EV or hybrid experience is an advantage.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage.
Required skills
- Vehicle diagnostics.
- Automotive repair and maintenance.
- Understanding of EV safety standards.
- Knowledge of workshop 5S and quality procedures.
