General Repair Technician – Electric Vehicle

About the role

Join BYD and Al‑Futtaim Electric Mobility as a General Repair Technician, responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing electric vehicles while ensuring high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on BYD electric vehicles.
• Perform repairs in line with EV safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check reporting.
• Maintain workshop safety, quality and 5S standards while meeting productivity targets.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI, NCVT, ITC or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–3 years experience as an automotive, diagnostic or general repair technician.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair; EV or hybrid experience is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.

• Vehicle diagnostics.

• Knowledge of workshop 5S and quality procedures.
