General Technician – 5‑Star Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a skilled General Technician to join the maintenance team of a prestigious 5‑star luxury hotel located on the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. You will play a vital part in keeping all technical systems and equipment operating at the highest standards, directly supporting guest satisfaction and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building infrastructure.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, execute repairs, and minimise equipment downtime.
• Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritising urgent issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or building maintenance.
• Proven experience as a general technician in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and building maintenance.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding hospitality setting.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must currently reside in the UAE.
