General Technician – Staff Accommodation

About the role

We are seeking a skilled General Technician to maintain the staff accommodation at our remote resort. You will ensure a safe, comfortable living environment for team members by handling a variety of maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily preventive and corrective maintenance across staff accommodation buildings.
• Respond to maintenance requests covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and air‑conditioning systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, facilities, and equipment.
• Carry out AC cleaning, basic servicing, and preventive maintenance.
• Execute minor electrical repairs, plumbing works, painting, and general upkeep.
• Address maintenance complaints and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
• Report major defects and support specialized contractors when needed.
• Keep work areas clean and follow health, safety, and accommodation policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a General Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
• Hands‑on knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, AC, painting, and general maintenance.
• Experience in staff accommodation, hotel, resort, or residential property maintenance is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and in a remote location.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
