Global Finance Director – Digital Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Global Finance Director to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing digital infrastructure platform operating across multiple markets. The role will provide strategic, commercial and financial leadership, partnering with the executive team, shareholders and capital providers as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global finance function and build a high‑calibre international finance team.
• Partner with the executive leadership on business strategy, investment decisions and long‑term growth initiatives.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance management across the platform.
• Own financial modelling, scenario analysis and business planning to support investment, expansion and strategic decisions.
• Analyse project economics, returns, capital requirements and funding options.
• Manage relationships with shareholders, lenders, investors, auditors and other key financial stakeholders.
• Lead debt financing, refinancing, liquidity management and broader capital‑structure considerations.
• Support evaluation and execution of significant capital investment and expansion programmes across multiple markets.
• Establish robust financial controls, governance, reporting and risk‑management processes as the business scales.
• Provide high‑quality management reporting with clear insight into financial and operational performance.
• Work closely with commercial, operations, development and investment teams to improve returns and capital efficiency.
• Act as a key financial adviser to the executive team and shareholders.

Required profile

• Senior finance leadership experience in digital infrastructure, data centres, telecoms, fibre, energy infrastructure or another capital‑intensive sector.
• Proven track record in a high‑growth, international business or platform, with responsibility across multiple markets.
• Strong capabilities in financial modelling, valuation, investment analysis, strategic planning and scenario analysis.
• Significant experience in debt financing, capital raising, refinancing and capital‑structure management.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear strategic recommendations.
• Experience building and developing finance functions within a scaling business, preferably in a shareholder‑backed or entrepreneurial environment.
• Comfortable working with shareholders, investors, lenders and other institutional stakeholders.
• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is strongly preferred.
