Graduate Electrical Engineer – UAE Nationals (Family Book)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Joining AECOM's Graduate Program will provide the opportunity to be an integral part of our team, with exposure to strategic initiatives and involvement in building construction supervision projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of electrical design calculations, drawings, load schedules, and comprehensive technical documentation for building services projects.
• Assist in developing and optimizing power, lighting, ELV (Extra Low Voltage), and other building systems within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Participate in site reviews, inspections, and coordination activities to ensure quality assurance and design compliance with project standards.
• Contribute to design studies, equipment selection, and evaluation of engineering solutions during planning and construction phases.
• Maintain organized project documentation, track deliverables, and support project workflows under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and innovative project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Recent 2025 or 2026 graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent).
• UAE National holding a family book, in compliance with Emiratisation policy and UAE labour law.
