Graphic Designer – Architecture & Design

About the role

The Graphic Designer will join Stantec’s multidisciplinary teams, primarily supporting Architecture while also collaborating with interior design, landscape architecture and engineering groups. The role offers exposure to the full project delivery process and involves creating documentation and promotional material across a variety of media.

Key responsibilities

• Observe, listen, research and absorb direction to brainstorm visual solutions for design and technical content.
• Produce presentations, reports, bid materials, web and print media, and prototypes.
• Communicate ideas, imagery and documentation clearly both verbally and visually to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain high attention to detail and deliver quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Explore new presentation approaches, including the use of AI tools.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant graphic design experience.
• Previous experience in an architectural consultancy or design studio is preferred.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Photoshop.
• Proficiency with Illustrator.
• Proficiency with InDesign.
• Proficiency with Dreamweaver.
• Proficiency with Paintshop Pro.
• Proficiency with Corel Graphics Suite.
