Graphic Designer - Printing & Packaging

About the role

A Marketing Department in Abu Dhabi is looking for a talented, detail-oriented Graphic Designer with UAE experience. The designer creates high-quality visual designs for retail brands, with a strong focus on packaging design, branding, print-ready artwork, product mockups, social media visuals and marketing campaign materials. The role works closely with the Marketing Department, Business Development Team, suppliers, printing companies, brand owners and internal departments, and uses modern creative tools including AI-assisted design tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design packaging and labels for retail products, including boxes, bags, stickers, labels and promotional packaging.
• Prepare final artwork files for printing and production, including dielines, bleed, margins, CMYK setup and colour profiles.
• Create brand identity materials such as logos, brand guidelines, typography and colour systems, business cards and marketing materials.
• Design social media visuals, product mockups, campaign assets, advertisements, brochures and web visuals.
• Support product launches, promotions and brand campaigns with creative visual concepts.
• Use AI tools for concept creation, image editing, image generation and creative development.
• Coordinate with suppliers, printing companies, external agencies and internal teams to finalise artwork accurately and on time.
• Submit concepts and layouts for approval, revise based on feedback and review final artwork before printing or publishing.

Required profile

• High Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in graphic design.
• Strong experience in packaging design for retail products.
• Experience in branding and visual identity design, including logos, typography, colour systems and brand guidelines.
• Experience using AI tools for image generation, editing, concept development or video creation.
• Ability to create realistic product mockups and professional packaging presentations.
• Good understanding of retail branding, product presentation and customer-focused design; experience in beauty, bath and body, gift, fashion or FMCG retail brands is preferred.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Strong knowledge of print-ready artwork preparation (bleed, margins, dielines, CMYK).
• After Effects or Premiere Pro experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design tasks at once.
