Group Financial Controller – Head of Consolidation

About the role

The Group Financial Controller (Head of Consolidation) will own the general ledger, month‑end close and statutory consolidation for the Group across the UAE, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, leading a team of five from the Dubai headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close calendar and process for all entities and business units.
• Produce the consolidated Group result and individual entity financial statements.
• Maintain the chart of accounts as the Group master file and govern all changes.
• Define global accounting standards and adapt them to local compliance without substantive variation.
• Establish the control framework, resource model and performance measures for the Record‑to‑Report process.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of group accounting and consolidation experience in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency organisation.
• Strong IFRS technical capability, including foreign‑currency translation and inventory valuation.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or CPA) with audit‑firm training.
• Experience leading reporting transitions, shared‑service migrations or finance centralisation programmes.
• Fluent in English and Russian.
