Group HR Director – Healthcare – Arabic Speaker

About the role

This strategic HR leadership position drives people strategy, workforce planning, talent acquisition, organisational development, employee experience and HR governance across a multi‑country healthcare organisation. The role works closely with executive leadership to support growth, transformation, localisation and leadership development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a group‑wide human capital strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team.
• Lead HR operations, governance, policies and workforce planning across multiple entities.
• Drive talent acquisition for clinical, corporate and executive roles.
• Establish succession planning, leadership development and organisational effectiveness programmes.
• Oversee learning and development initiatives, including a healthcare academy framework.
• Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, culture and retention initiatives.
• Manage compensation, benefits and reward strategies.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and workforce localisation requirements.
• Support acquisitions, integrations, hospital openings and expansion projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 8‑10 years in healthcare organisations.
• Proven track record partnering with CEOs, Boards or executive leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and KSA employment legislation and localisation programmes.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Ability to operate effectively within multicultural GCC environments.
