Guest Relations Hostess/Host

About the role

A full-time Guest Relations Hostess/Host position in Dubai, within the Hyde brand, focused on delivering maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt, cordial attention from arrival through departure.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all guests receive their benefits, with special recognition for repeat guests and VIPs
• Meet and greet VIP guests personally and liaise with the Concierge on events, restaurant promotions, limousine needs and special requests
• Prepare welcome cards and amenities for rooms before arrival, and update the repeat guest history system
• Handle guest complaints professionally, follow up on corrective actions and review arrival lists for room allocations and special requests
• Prepare amenity requisitions on time and promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities
• Take part in regular meetings with the Guest Relations team and Butlers, and coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Facilities
• Collect and document guest feedback, train and mentor junior staff, and carry out special projects assigned by management

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of Guest Relations experience, preferably in a four or five-star hotel
• Proven guest relations, hospitality or customer-facing experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent English communication, and flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
