Guest Relations Officer / Receptionist

About the role
The Guest Relations Officer / Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests on the iconic QE2 floating hotel, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate daily hotel occupancy and coordinate with reservations, sales, and housekeeping to maximise guest satisfaction.
- Manage guest check‑in/check‑out using the Opera system and maintain accurate occupancy and arrival reports.
- Greet guests, answer inquiries, handle phone calls, and resolve requests promptly.
- Inform guests about rates and services, create, modify or cancel reservations, and allocate rooms efficiently.
- Oversee safe deposit boxes, support concierge services, and ensure compliance with control policies and emergency procedures.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role in the UAE.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Opera property management system.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
