Guest Service Officer (Part Time) - UAE National

About the role

Amana Healthcare, a long-term care and rehabilitation provider within the M42 network, is hiring a part-time Guest Service Officer who reports to the Supervisor, Patient Access Services. The role covers pre-registration, registration, scheduling, patient identification, cash collections and insurance eligibility, providing front-desk service to patients and their families in person and by phone. The officer also helps ensure compliance with the Department of Health (DOH), Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Joint Commission International (JCI) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and perform positive identification on arrival
• Print and place wristbands on patients when applicable
• Collect insurance cards and demographic information and enter data into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Secure required treatment signatures such as General Consent forms and provide the Patient and Family Rights and Responsibilities document
• Perform accurate registration with a thorough interview technique
• Verify insurance eligibility and validate scheduled procedures and out-of-pocket responsibility
• Validate Emirates ID and route unauthorized procedures to the insurance officer
• Ensure compliance requirements are met so registration is correctly created or updated and claims can be submitted

Required profile

• Vocational or technical education or a bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of similar experience
• Experience in an operational role delivering results
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with patients in a culturally sensitive way
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
