Guest Services Officer – Front Desk & Patient Registration

About the role

The Guest Services Officer is the first point of contact for patients visiting Healthpoint. You will ensure a smooth check‑in experience, manage registration, verify insurance, and support billing while maintaining compliance with local health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients, guide them through the check‑in process and answer queries.
• Accurately capture demographic and insurance information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect co‑pays, and handle cash receipts following strict procedures.
• Obtain required patient signatures for consent and compliance documents.
• Schedule appointments, make reminder calls, and coordinate discharge follow‑ups.
• Respond to inbound calls, address patient feedback, and act as liaison between patients, families, and clinical teams.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and adherence to DOH and JCI standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
