Gym Attendant

About the role

The Gym Attendant welcomes residents and guests to the Kempinski fitness facility, ensuring a friendly, caring experience that reflects the brand’s high standards. You will be the first and last impression for users of the gym, responsible for registration, assistance, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register residents and guests, answering questions in line with Kempinski standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the gym, changing rooms, and locker areas throughout the shift.
• Inspect and report any malfunctioning equipment, ensuring all machines are operational.
• Provide guidance on equipment use, offering orientation tours and basic setup assistance.
• Supply towels, water, and other amenities, and handle guest requests or concerns promptly.
• Track inventory of towels, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, reporting stock levels for re‑ordering.
• Perform daily sanitisation of cardio, strength, and functional training equipment.
• Log hand‑over details to the incoming team member.

Required profile

• Eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within a 5‑star property or residence.
• Mature, customer‑focused attitude with a proven track record of progression.
