Head of Finance – Manufacturing Chemicals

About the role

A leading manufacturer in the chemical industry is looking for a Head of Finance to join its team in Dubai, UAE. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and sits within the leadership team, covering financial planning, reporting, compliance, treasury and manufacturing finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting operations, delivering accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports in line with IFRS and corporate policy.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance analysis to support strategy and growth.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, product costing and margin analysis.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement to optimise working capital and cash flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field; CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role in manufacturing, chemicals, industrial products or similar sectors.
