Head of Finance – Retail Banking & Wealth Management

About the role

Emirates NBD is seeking a senior finance leader to act as the strategic finance partner for Retail Banking, Retail Client Segments and international Retail Banking & Wealth Management operations. The role will drive financial performance management, governance, planning and decision‑support across the business while leading a team of finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance activities and provide strategic partnership for Retail Products, Retail Client Segments and RBWM international businesses.
• Deliver timely, accurate and insightful management information to support performance monitoring and executive decision‑making.
• Drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes, highlighting risks, opportunities and key drivers.
• Strengthen governance, financial controls and reconciliation frameworks in line with Group policies.
• Lead finance transformation projects, including planning tools, business intelligence platforms and management information enhancements.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant or MBA with a finance specialization.
• Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification experience in the finance function of a large banking institution.
• Strong understanding of finance, business performance management, strategic planning and financial systems.
• Experience in Retail Banking and Wealth Management environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead high‑performing teams and operate effectively under pressure.
