Head Of Financial Operations Crypto

About the role

Capital.com is seeking a senior Head of Financial Operations for its crypto business line. The role will build and run financial operations across multiple regulated jurisdictions, ensuring robust controls, accurate accounting, and effective treasury management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations for crypto entities, including reconciliations, month‑end close, inter‑company accounting and audit readiness.
• Define and maintain accounting policies for fiat and digital‑asset transactions, covering valuation, movement, impairment and revenue recognition.
• Manage treasury, liquidity and cash‑flow forecasting for both fiat and crypto balances, and supervise wallet controls and crypto‑to‑fiat conversion processes.
• Ensure tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT/GST, payroll and crypto‑related taxable events) and support regulatory reporting obligations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost modelling and scenario planning to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial operations, accounting or treasury within regulated environments.
• Proven ability to design and implement finance systems and processes from the ground up.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including relationships with auditors, banks, PSPs and exchanges.
