Head of Key Accounts – Regional Cluster MEA

About the role

RATIONAL AG, the world leader in commercial combi ovens, is seeking a Head of Key Accounts for the Middle East and Africa region. Based in Dubai, you will lead the strategic development of key accounts, driving growth and profitability across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the MEA Key Account strategy to increase market share and profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop the Key Account Management team to achieve high performance.
• Identify, target and nurture strategic national and regional accounts.
• Build senior relationships with key customers, planners, consultants and industry influencers.
• Lead customer presentations, demonstrations, cooking events and executive business reviews.
• Oversee field and laboratory trials, commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Regional teams for a coordinated market approach.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide actionable business insights.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of leadership or sales management experience.
• Proven experience in Key Account Management and strategic account development.
• Strong understanding of structured sales processes and strategic selling methodologies.
• Technical knowledge of professional kitchen workflows or strong interest in cooking.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region (≈60%).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
