Head of Mission Critical – Senior Technical Director

About the role

We are seeking a visionary leader to head WSP’s Mission Critical sector in the Middle East, focusing on data centre strategy, growth and delivery. Reporting to regional leadership, you will shape the regional vision, drive market expansion and ensure the highest standards of resilience and operational continuity for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional strategy for mission‑critical data centres, aligning with global and Middle East priorities.
• Own sector architecture, value proposition, priority accounts, partner strategy and capability roadmap.
• Lead cross‑practice collaboration across Advisory, Engineering, Sustainability and Digital to deliver integrated solutions.
• Expand WSP’s market share with hyperscale, colocation and enterprise data centre clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional satisfaction.
• Oversee delivery of consulting and engineering services that meet resilience, efficiency and sustainability standards.
• Drive P&L performance, resource allocation and sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in mission‑critical or data‑centre consulting.
• Strong track record of developing and executing regional growth strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and achieve financial targets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client‑facing skills.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of mission‑critical data‑centre architecture and operations.
• Experience with integrated engineering, sustainability and digital solutions.
• Strategic planning, market analysis and go‑to‑market execution.
