Head of Security

About the role

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a Head of Security to protect members, guests, staff and the property. You will develop and enforce security policies, oversee emergency procedures and ensure a safe environment across the club’s four‑floor, 65,000‑sq‑ft venue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain global security policies, standards and workplace‑violence prevention programmes.
• Design and enforce procedures for incident management, loss and fraud prevention, and privacy protection.
• Create and oversee emergency response plans and physical safety protocols for members, guests and staff.
• Control the security budget, monitor expenses and allocate resources effectively.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for events in collaboration with other departments.
• Train security guards on drills, safety standards and club‑specific procedures.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV systems and maintain liaison with police, fire and medical services.
• Respond to security breaches, document incidents and produce detailed reports.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of security leadership experience in luxury hotels or comparable venues.
• Previous experience working in the Middle East.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and a professional demeanor.
