Head of SMB MENAT SSA EMEA

About the role

AWS is looking for a leader to drive its Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment across MENAT and SSA. The role leads a team of Sellers to accelerate cloud adoption among SMB customers and reports to the EMEA SMB Segment Leader as part of the EMEA SMB Leadership Team. It is a senior sales management position focused on revenue growth, partner ecosystems and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SMB growth strategies and drive revenue and customer acquisition targets
• Build and lead a team of CSRs and Field Sellers, setting performance metrics and accountability frameworks
• Scale a partner-led SMB business model with ISVs, SIs and resellers, using the AWS Partner Network
• Drive adoption of AWS services, especially GenAI, data analytics and migration solutions, and build customer success metrics
• Recruit, coach and mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation
• Work with Marketing, Partner, Product and Solutions Architecture teams, and represent UKI SMB interests in regional and global forums
• Monitor market intelligence, identify trends around AI and digital transformation, and innovate sales and customer success approaches
• Set up efficient operational processes, manage budgets and ensure compliance with AWS policies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or a related field; MBA preferred
• Experience in people management and in technology-related business development, sales strategy or operations
• Experience in advertising, media or agencies with a track record of exceeding sales targets is preferred
• Preferred: 5+ years of business development, account management, product management, project management, financial analysis or marketing experience
