Head of Steel Sales

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Head of Sales Sections Steel in Dubai, UAE, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer. The role leads the sales team responsible for selling section steel products to clients across various markets, developing sales strategies, managing key accounts and driving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Meet sales targets for section steel in various markets and develop effective sales strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends, and conduct market research to adjust strategies.
• Lead, motivate and train the sales team, providing product knowledge and selling skills development.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and work with customer service to resolve issues promptly.
• Analyze sales performance metrics, prepare regular sales reports for management and collaborate with finance to set and manage the sales budget.
• Work with marketing on promotional materials and campaigns, and with production, logistics and quality assurance for timely delivery.
• Monitor regulatory changes, implement process improvements, collect after-sales feedback and take part in quality assurance reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales of light and medium section steel (IPEA/AA, HEA/HEB DIN, H-beam JIS, UB/UC BSEN, UPN/UPE DIN and JIS channel).
• Desirable: at least 10-12 years of industry experience.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, sales, marketing or a related field, or in mechanical or metallurgical engineering.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, with integrity and reliability.
