Head of Year (EYFS) – Primary Leadership Role

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced educator to lead the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) year group, combining teaching excellence with strategic leadership. This role will shape the learning environment, support staff development, and uphold the academy’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Year group, organising team and planning meetings to ensure a cohesive vision and high‑quality learning.
• Deliver the Primary English National Curriculum across all subjects, creating engaging lessons for the full ability range.
• Manage pastoral care and well‑being, ensuring systems and procedures are followed and safeguarding concerns are recorded.
• Line‑manage teachers and teaching assistants, monitoring performance against UAE Professional Teacher Standards.
• Analyse assessment data, use Learning Ladders and intervene to raise attainment above expected levels.
• Maintain behaviour standards, apply the school’s behaviour policy and promote the TRACK values.
