Head Waitress – Lobby Lounge

About the role

Join the luxury hospitality team at Raffles Dubai as the Head Waitress for the award‑winning lobby lounge. You will lead service standards, support colleagues and ensure an exceptional guest experience in a 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain LQA service standards and act on VIP arrivals.
• Know all food & beverage menu items and convey details to guests.
• Serve, clear and reset tables using appropriate service ware.
• Operate the POS system for sales, checks and cash‑out procedures.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions following accounting guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, orderly restaurant and manage inventory.
• Train and mentor staff, lead briefings and support other outlets during peak periods.

Required profile

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Minimum 2 years hotel experience, at least 1 year in a 5‑star luxury operation.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to Raffles brand values and inclusive workplace culture.

Required skills

• Micros POS system proficiency.
• Opera system knowledge.
• POS cash handling and transaction processing.
• Inventory management.
• Operation of coffee and specialty beverage machines.
