Health Care Assistant – Dubai Media City

About the role

The Health Care Assistant will support safe, patient‑focused care at the Satellite Clinic in Dubai Media City. Working closely with nursing staff, you will help maintain a clean, hygienic environment and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise tasks to ensure effective functioning of the clinic area.
• Keep medical equipment and examination rooms clean and ready for use.
• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with hospital safety, infection control and security policies.
• Monitor clinic stock, ensuring supplies are available and not expired.
• Uphold Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards for hygiene and safety.
• Complete environmental assessments and mandatory education, including Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI).
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Senior Staff Nurse or Clinic/Nurse Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum nine years of basic education plus 18 months of nurse training, or twelve years of basic education with one year of nurse training.
• One to two years of experience as a nursing assistant.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to assess patients' physical and psychological needs and to coordinate care.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support certification (Heart Saver).
