Healthcare Assistant (Emirati talent)

About the role

Healthpoint Hospital is seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Healthcare Assistant to support high‑quality patient care across outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. Working under the supervision of licensed professionals, you will contribute to safe, efficient, and patient‑centered services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility and comfort.
• Record and monitor vital signs, perform point‑of‑care testing and support basic clinical procedures.
• Help healthcare professionals during examinations, treatments and minor procedures, including specimen collection.
• Maintain infection control standards, use PPE correctly and follow sterilisation protocols.
• Enter accurate data into the electronic medical record system and handle patient registration and scheduling.

Required profile

• Diploma as a Healthcare Assistant or related field.
• At least 6 months on‑the‑job clinical placement as a student Healthcare Assistant.
• Active license with the relevant health authority (DOH/DHA/MOH).
• Heartsaver certification.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
