About the role
The Heavy Equipment Operator will support solar field operations by performing cleaning tasks using specialized trucks and machinery, following O&M procedures and HSE guidelines under the direction of the Solar Field Engineer.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cleaning trucks, ensuring pre‑operation checks (oil, water, lights, air circuit) and post‑operation maintenance.
- Execute daily solar field loop cleaning according to plan, coordinating with Control Room Operators.
- Perform Level 1 maintenance such as fixing air/oil leaks, hose changes, and detector adjustments.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and keep the trucks and packing area clean.
Required profile
- Mechanical Technician qualification with a valid truck driving licence.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably with CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) cleaning trucks.
Required skills
- Operation of heavy machinery and cleaning trucks.
- Basic water‑treatment knowledge.
- Understanding of solar field access roads and loop cleaning procedures.
