High Voltage Project Manager – Energy Infrastructure

About the role

Omexom is looking for an experienced High‑Voltage Project Manager to lead major energy infrastructure projects, including greenfield and brownfield substations ranging from 132kV to 400kV, in the Abu Dhabi region. The role combines operational project execution with tender‑stage cost estimation, working closely with the HV Tender Leader and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from planning and execution studies through commissioning and hand‑over.
• Collaborate with the HV Tender Leader to develop technical and financial bids, BOQs, RFQs, and execution methodologies.
• Provide accurate cost estimates, schedule plans, and risk assessments during tender phases.
• Oversee on‑site execution, ensuring compliance with VINCI HSE standards, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, OEMs, vendors, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Monitor progress, budgets, and schedules, delivering regular reports to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 8–12 years of project management experience in energy infrastructure within the UAE.
• Proven track record delivering projects in collaboration with TAQA (TRANSCO).
• Strong expertise in both operational execution and tender cost estimation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP certification is a strong plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
