About the role
The Hostess will greet guests, manage seating, and ensure a welcoming dining environment at the OliWino venue. This position involves maintaining clean work areas, assisting guests with special needs, and upholding company standards for safety and appearance.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
- Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and other required items.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
- Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required training.
- Answer phones with proper etiquette and communicate professionally with guests and team members.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
- Professional appearance and ability to maintain confidentiality.
