Hotel Receptionist – UAE National

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to be the face of our hotel in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. You will ensure guests enjoy an exceptional experience from check‑in to check‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm demeanor, setting a positive tone for their stay.
• Efficiently manage check‑in and check‑out processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly and professionally, and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure comfort.
• Maintain a neat and organized front‑desk area, process payments and manage guest accounts precisely.
• Uphold the hotel’s standards of excellence in customer service and professionalism.
• Adapt to a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple tasks and incoming/outgoing calls courteously.
• Promote hotel facilities and seek opportunities to enhance guest stays through up‑selling.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and efficient problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of local attractions and services in Sharjah and surrounding areas.
• Cultural sensitivity to cater to a diverse international clientele.
• Professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions.
