Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy and ready for arrival, delivering the high standards expected by our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments, keys and supplies from the supervisor and record them accurately.
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, washing sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, floors and polishing brass or metal fixtures.
• Restock bathroom and room supplies, arrange guest toiletries neatly, and spot‑clean carpets as needed.
• Maintain fire exits, stairways and corridors clear of obstructions and report any maintenance issues immediately.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Keep guest corridors, service pantries and service areas tidy at all times.
• Remove room‑service trays and trolleys, and coordinate with valet service for guest laundry, dry‑cleaning or pressing requests.

Required profile

• Vocational training in hotel housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Friendly, caring and culturally sensitive with a strong customer‑focus.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to take responsibility, adapt and work as part of a team.
