About the role
The Housekeeping Coordinator supports daily housekeeping operations at The Ritz‑Carlton, ensuring rooms are prepared to the brand’s Gold Standards and coordinating with multiple departments.
Key responsibilities
- Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning and update departing‑guest room status.
- Prepare and distribute room assignments, monitor ‘Do Not Disturb’ rooms and ensure rush rooms are cleaned on time.
- Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve discrepant rooms.
- Complete required housekeeping paperwork and follow safety, security and company policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related housekeeping or hotel experience.
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
- Professional appearance, confidentiality and strong communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer systems for entering and locating work‑related information.
