HPE POD - Modular Data Center Solutions

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring for a Hybrid role (about 2 days per week in an HPE office) to develop and grow its Modular Data Center (POD) and AI infrastructure business. You will lead business development with external customers, strategic partners and internal sales teams, covering opportunities for HPC, AI infrastructure, cloud services and enterprise workloads across the UKIMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert opportunities for modular data center deployments such as AI factory infrastructure, HPC clusters, GPU environments and edge data centers.
• Lead customer engagements to understand technical, operational and business requirements and translate them into POD-based solutions.
• Work with account teams, solution architects and partners to build proposals covering architecture, modular facility design and lifecycle services.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer executives and decision makers on data center architecture, capacity scaling and AI-ready infrastructure.
• Support major proposals and RFPs, including technical positioning, commercial structuring and value articulation.
• Coordinate engineering, supply chain, manufacturing partners and delivery teams to keep solutions feasible and on schedule.
• Maintain relationships with partners such as cooling technology providers, modular construction manufacturers and integrators.
• Share market intelligence and customer feedback to influence the HPE POD portfolio, and represent HPE at industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 6+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, HPC, modular infrastructure or enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience in business development, solution sales or infrastructure consulting within enterprise IT, cloud or data center sectors.
• Experience engaging senior technical and executive stakeholders and supporting complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

Required skills

• Knowledge of modular data centers, high-density GPU and HPC environments, liquid cooling and AI infrastructure.
• Ability to turn complex technical concepts into business value and structure large infrastructure deals.
• Experience across compute, networking, storage, cooling systems and facility infrastructure.
