HR Specialist - Manpower Optimisation

About the role

Develop and implement effective manpower forecasting models and methods across business units to accurately predict future workforce requirements, aligning with EKFC’s manpower strategy. The role involves analysing workforce data, influencing senior management, and driving optimisation of manpower planning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and apply forecasting models to predict staffing needs based on business growth, industry trends and operational plans.
• Collect, analyse and interpret workforce data, producing reports and presentations that support data‑driven decision making.
• Establish engagement standards, shift preferences, breaks and fair workload distribution through negotiation and change‑management processes.
• Validate manpower proposals using system reports and templates to ensure compliance with shift and roster rules.
• Review and audit approved manpower recommendations within agreed timelines.
• Evaluate business cases and profitability using finance tools and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities that affect manpower budgets and advise senior leadership.
• Drive ongoing manpower planning, analysis and optimisation to support business strategy, operational efficiency and cost control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in resource management or manpower planning, including at least two years in catering, airport or similar operations.
• Experience with airport resource management systems in a large organisation is an advantage.
