HSE Officer - Civil Construction

About the role
Mirage is hiring a full-time HSE Officer in Dubai for a civil construction project. The role covers day-to-day health, safety and environmental oversight on site, including inspections, incident investigation and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits across the construction site
- Monitor contractor compliance with the project HSE management plan
- Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and awareness sessions to site teams
- Maintain HSE records, permits and inspection documentation
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning on site
- Prepare HSE reports for project management
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
- Minimum 7 years' experience as an HSE officer in civil construction
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety practices
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification required
- Minimum 4 years of UAE experience mandatory
