HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will ensure safety and environmental management systems are maintained across all AL TAIF workshops, warehouses, and office areas, providing expert advice to management and supervising compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and document safety and environmental management systems across all facilities.
• Review inspection data, identify non‑compliance trends, and manage closure of findings.
• Advise management on integrating HSE protocols into operational workflows.
• Administer the Risk Framework and keep the Risk Register up to date.
• Develop and oversee training programs for risk assessments, JHAs, and environmental impact evaluations.
• Prepare performance reports and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Manage HSE training curriculum, schedules, and records for employees and contractors.
• Oversee waste management documentation to ensure compliance with UAE regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in an HSE role.
• Ability to monitor and analyse HSE trends and apply governmental regulations.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid UAE driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
