Human Resources Manager - Manufacturing

About the role

A leading Home & Personal Care manufacturing company is looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead its HR function. The role covers day-to-day HR operations for both blue-collar and skilled workforces, with a focus on employee relations, workforce effectiveness, Emiratization, compliance and HR service delivery, while supporting broader people initiatives and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end HR operations across the organisation, covering blue-collar and skilled employees.
• Manage the employee lifecycle: manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee movements and offboarding.
• Partner with business leaders and managers on workforce needs, employee relations, performance and people matters.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary cases, investigations and workplace concerns fairly and consistently.
• Lead Emiratization initiatives and ensure targets and local requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with local Labour Law and employment regulations, and maintain effective HR policies and processes.
• Oversee HR administration, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, employee records, benefits and HR reporting.
• Lead, coach and develop the HR team, and drive performance management, engagement, training, development and retention.
• Advise senior management on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and HR priorities, and improve HR processes and employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial or another operationally intensive environment.
• Proven experience managing both blue-collar and skilled workforces.
• Previous experience leading and developing an HR team.
• Strong knowledge of local Labour Law, Emiratization and HR compliance.
• Hands-on, commercially minded, able to work at both operational and strategic levels; manufacturing/plant workforce experience is highly advantageous.
