HVAC Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, with a focus on DIY projects, air conditioning (AC) systems, plumbing and electrical work. The role calls for strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain AC systems, including troubleshooting, part replacement and routine maintenance.
• Perform basic handyman work.
• Carry out electrical repairs and installations such as wiring, outlets, switches and light fixtures, in line with electrical codes.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and complete maintenance projects on time and to a high standard.
• Inspect and diagnose issues with DIY, AC and electrical systems and develop effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and stay up to date on industry trends and new techniques.
• Provide prompt customer service and respond quickly to client maintenance requests.
• Maintain and organise tools, equipment and supplies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven maintenance experience, focused on AC systems, electrical and plumbing; experience with Inverter units is an advantage.
• Valid UAE manual driver's licence.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Good communication skills and physical stamina to lift heavy equipment.

Required skills

• Carpentry, painting, plumbing, AC systems and electrical wiring.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
