HVAC Technician

About the role

Accor is looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Technician in Dubai to keep the hotel's HVAC systems safe, efficient and reliable. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, while maintaining guest comfort and supporting the smooth running of hotel facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and adjust air conditioning and refrigeration equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split and window AC units, cold rooms, coolers, ice machines, extract fans and other HVAC equipment.
• Assist chiller contractors on scheduled maintenance and brief them on the condition of the equipment.
• Keep sufficient spare parts in stock for AC and refrigeration equipment and check purchased materials for quality.
• Carry out energy-saving measures to help the department reduce energy costs.
• Take daily chiller, cold room and temperature readings and keep all set parameters within limits.
• Advise on improvements to optimise the operating efficiency and economy of the system.
• Keep the plant room, workshop and related areas clean and tidy.

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in the position is preferred.
• Proven hospitality experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with company documentation, especially the Operational Standards Manual for the field of responsibility.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on-call duty if required.
• An additional advantage is knowledge of another language.
