Inclusion Assistant (UAE National) – Al Rayana Charter School

About the role

The Al Rayana Charter School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a UAE National Inclusion Assistant to join its dedicated team. The role supports pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring they can fully engage in classroom and school activities. This position starts immediately and is full‑time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring Individual Education Programmes (IEPs) aligned with each pupil’s goals.
• Prepare differentiated resources and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Promote independence by teaching clear strategies for academic and social tasks.
• Collaborate with homeroom and subject teachers, maintaining accurate pupil records.
• Work alongside specialists such as speech and occupational therapists.
• Ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety policies and school codes of conduct.
• Participate in training sessions, professional meetings and parent communications as required.

Required profile

• UAE national with a passion for inclusive education.
• Experience supporting pupils with academic, physical, emotional or behavioural challenges.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain confidential records.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to punctuality, professional dress and attendance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IEP development and monitoring.
• Ability to create and adapt learning resources.
• Understanding of health‑and‑safety procedures in a school setting.
