Inclusion/SEN Whole School Teacher – Sharjah, UAE

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced Inclusion/SEN teacher to work across primary and secondary phases in a vibrant international environment. You will support learners of all abilities, delivering the IB (PYP/MYP/DP) and Australian curricula while fostering an inclusive, student‑centred culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess differentiated lessons for students with additional learning needs.
• Collaborate with subject teachers, parents and external specialists to design and implement intervention strategies.
• Monitor student progress and adjust support plans to ensure academic growth.
• Contribute to whole‑school inclusion policies and professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Educational Needs, Inclusion, Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent) from the UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand.
• Minimum two years post‑qualification experience supporting students with additional needs.
• Experience across primary and secondary phases and a strong understanding of inclusive practices.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IB and/or Australian curriculum frameworks.
• Proficiency in differentiation, intervention strategies and collaborative planning.
