About the role
JD.com is seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead its procurement activities across the Middle East, based in Dubai. The role focuses on managing categories such as warehouse equipment, consumables, interior renovation, and administration, ensuring efficient sourcing and cost‑effective solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for indirect categories, aligning with business objectives.
- Optimize the end‑to‑end procurement process, from request handling and supplier sourcing to contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Control procurement costs by designing effective models, conducting cost analyses and leveraging historical data.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster a sustainable and reliable supply ecosystem.
- Analyze procurement data regularly and propose innovative improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement requirements and ensure alignment.
- Ensure compliance with JD.com policies and local regulations throughout the procurement cycle.
