Information Security Consultant

About the role

The United Al Saqer Group is seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to join its ICT Department. You will guide the organisation’s security strategy, assess risks, develop policies and implement solutions that protect data, systems and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and operate security tools such as SIEM, EDR, PAM, DLP, IDS/IPS.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct threat hunting across network, email gateways and cloud services.
• Run vulnerability scans, coordinate penetration testing and oversee remediation.
• Review and optimise security logs and alerts for timely detection.
• Provide expert advice on secure system design, network defence, access controls and encryption.
• Secure multi‑cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365) with logging, encryption and DevSecOps practices.
• Implement and manage IAM and PAM solutions, enforce least‑privilege access.
• Support Zero Trust adoption and embed security into the SDLC.
• Develop and maintain information security policies, standards and the ISMS.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security operations, threat management and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, cloud security and Zero Trust concepts.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams to drive remediation and compliance.
