Information Technology Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join NOVA in Abu Dhabi‑Al Jurf. The role focuses on designing, implementing and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including networking, Microsoft Modern Workspace, device management, cybersecurity and CCTV systems. You will ensure secure, reliable operations while supporting staff onboarding, training and enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain scalable server, virtualization and storage solutions, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
• Plan, configure and manage LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, wireless and fiber optic networks, and monitor performance and security.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook) and manage devices through Active Directory/Azure AD and Microsoft Intune.
• Implement Microsoft Defender solutions, conduct vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents.
• Oversee IT asset procurement, inventory, licensing compliance and lifecycle management, including consumables and CCTV equipment.
• Maintain documentation, backups, disaster recovery plans and provide user support for onboarding and training.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD and Microsoft Intune.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs and VLAN configuration.
• Proven ability to manage cybersecurity tools, especially Microsoft Defender.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
