In‑Room Dining Order Taker – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an In‑Room Dining Order Taker to join Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, a luxury hotel delivering authentic Turkish hospitality. The role involves taking guest orders by phone, handling cashiering duties, and ensuring a seamless in‑room dining experience that meets Rixos service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Update daily operational feedback, prepare cashiering and operational forms, and handle cash accurately following Rixos and accounting procedures.
• Maintain complete knowledge of menus, wine and beverage lists, promotions, specials and hotel services, and communicate any unavailable items with the culinary team.
• Answer telephone calls promptly using LQA standards, take orders with personalized recommendations, and upsell where appropriate.
• Process orders through the POS system, ensure correct delivery times, and support colleagues during busy periods.
• Maintain a clean and organized Order Taker cabin and pantry, and handle equipment and store requisitions responsibly.
• Record guest preferences, report complaints, and follow service recovery standards.

Required profile

• Good verbal, reading and writing proficiency in English, well‑presented and professionally groomed.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to stay composed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in In‑Room Dining, Food & Beverage or a similar guest‑facing hotel position, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Ability to work extended hours, high‑volume operations and support multiple F&B outlets.
