Insight Sales Specialist - MEA
Kpler · Dubai
Job description
About the role
Kpler's Insight is its market research and analysis module, bringing together analysts' expertise to give forward-looking views on global commodities markets through reports, outlooks and narratives. The company is looking for a proactive, hands-on Insight Sales Specialist to develop Insight and S&D sales penetration in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The role expands adoption of Insight and S&D with existing and new clients, working closely with the Product and Commercial teams, and reports to the Insight Sales Specialist Team Lead.
Key responsibilities
- Own and grow a defined book of business for Insight and S&D in the MEA region, covering prospects and existing Kpler clients.
- Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating and closing Insight and S&D subscriptions.
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets with consistent pipeline development and deal conversion.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in client organisations.
- Collaborate with Product and Research teams so client feedback shapes product development and positioning.
- Partner with Marketing and Business Development to generate and nurture inbound and outbound leads for the MEA market.
- Monitor and report sales performance, pipeline health and key metrics through Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting.
- Track market developments and rival offerings and share intelligence internally.
- Represent Kpler and the Insight and S&D product lines at regional industry events, conferences and client meetings.
Required profile
- 5+ years in a commercial or sales role, with a proven track record of closing deals and hitting revenue targets in B2B.
- Experience in commodities, energy, research or other data-driven industries.
- Proven success managing a regional territory or book of business, including pipeline generation, client engagement, contract renewals and revenue growth.
- Experience selling data, analytics, research or intelligence solutions, able to explain their commercial value.
- Strong understanding of commodities, energy and research markets, able to turn market trends into commercial opportunities.
Required skills
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills, able to engage senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, including pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams, time zones and diverse cultures.
