Inspector, Quality Control (Emirati Talent)

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector will perform critical compliance inspections for AL TAIF TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC during equipment rebuild and overhaul operations. The role ensures that all work meets ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 standards and internal quality procedures while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct QC inspections of heavy vehicles, components, assemblies and spares.
• Verify that maintenance and repair tasks follow job plans and that faults are corrected.
• Inspect fourth‑line repairable items, apply identification tags and perform spot checks on equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Liaise with mechanics, supervisors and customers to resolve quality issues.
• Classify items, determine serviceability and process customer condemnation approvals.
• Prepare Material Deficiency Reports and support root‑cause analysis of warranty concerns.
• Coordinate verification of non‑OEM spares and manage suspected non‑conforming items in stores.
• Compile quality and defect data for reporting to the QC Manager.

Required profile

• Technical degree or diploma relevant to inspection.
• Minimum 2 years experience with heavy‑vehicle components, failure analysis or welding.
• Previous QC or inspector experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Practitioner certification is a plus.
• Ability to read technical and owner’s manuals.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• Valid UAE driver’s license; vehicle/forklift licence preferred.
